I am going to write about my last loan because it didn't happen. I get a call from a company. They say got a loan in a city 6o miles from my home at least. I quote them a price of $250 thinking they'll find someone else. Well they called me back and accepted that price telling me the loan was going to take place in a title company.I asked is it a HELOC because if it is a HELOC I will not do it because it requires giving the borrower a copy of the loan documents at the signing and I know nothing about Lufkin in order to find a copy place. She said no no no it is not a HELOC. Got the papers most certainly was a HELOC. Called her back this is a HELOC. You need to find a way to copy the package for the borrower or I won't do it. 15 minutes later well the lender said you should take $25. less because you are not keeping your contract. At which time I got a little perturbed and said no I am not taking 25 less I told you from the beginning my conditions to do the loan and I had to get tough to keep my 250 got called a little later and they had found someone else and I am sure that as th e notary everything reflected negative on me.
